David O. Rozhin – Research Fellow at Academia Kantiana, Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (Kaliningrad).

In 2013 he graduated from the Smolensk Theological Seminary (Bachelor of Theology), in 2015 – from the St. Petersburg Theological Academy (Master of Theology). In 2019, he completed his master’s degree at IKBFU in Philosophy (programme “Philosophy of I. Kant and modern Kantianism”).

In 2022, he completed his post-graduate programme and defended his dissertation “Reception of I. Kant’s philosophical ideas in the system of transcendental monism of V. D. Kudryavtsev-Platonov,” in which he explored the origins of Kantian ideas represented in the theory of cognition by Kudryavtsev-Platonov, as well as made a comparative analysis of the key concepts of theoretical philosophy in Kant and Kudryavtsev-Platonov.

Research activities of D.O. Rozhin is dedicated to several areas:
– study of the reception of Kantian philosophy and its ways, including through the prism of German neo-Kantianism, in Russian ecclesiastical-academic philosophy;
– exploring the potential of Kant’s theoretical philosophy to create a cognitive agent and strong AI;
– a study of Kant’s apriorism and its influence on post-Kantian philosophy, as well as its significance for solving contemporary problems.
