The main exegetical problems with Kant\u2019s Doctrine of Right concern the relations between theoretical and practical philosophy, moral and \u2018legal\u2019 obligation, and the concepts of private and public law. In public law, Kant is unique in that he combines concepts and themes from Hobbes, Locke, and Rousseau.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Scientific Supervisor<\/em> \u2013 Prof. Dr. Heiner F. Klemme (Martin-Luther-Universit\u00e4t Halle-Wittenberg), co-editor of <em>Kant-Studien<\/em>, member of the Academia Kantiana International Research Council (IKBFU, Kaliningrad).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Scientific Assistant<\/em> \u2013 Ludmila Kryshtop, PhD, associate professorat Peoples\u2019 Friendship University of Russia, Moscow.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The summer school consists of lectures, seminars, and readings. Within the framework of the summer school there will also be a scientific conference, in which participants will present their own research project on a topic related to Kant\u2019s philosophy, and discuss the project with colleagues from different universities of Russia and the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">School participants are selected on a competitive basis, no more than 20 people. Participation in the summer school is free of charge. Travel to the venue of the school and accommodation in Svetlogorsk is paid individually by the participants. The organizers may be able to reimburse some travel or accommodation costs (to be confirmed).
