The Academia Kantiana<\/em>, founded 2017, is a research institution at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (IKBFU) in Kaliningrad. The central focus of the Academia\u2019s research programme is the study of Immanuel Kant\u2019s philosophy and its reception in Russian and other philosophical traditions, along with the history of Neo-Kantianism and the study of the Enlightenment project and its relevance for the twenty-first century.<\/p>\n The Academy continues the work started by the Kant Institute and relies on a group of young philosophers who are actively gaining national and international academic prestige. The Academy has close ties with leading Russian and foreign centers of philosophy.<\/p>\n The Academy publishes \u201cKantovsky Sbornik\u201d, a quarterly journal dedicated to research in Kantian philosophy. The journal looks back over forty years of history and is listed by the Higher Attestation Commission among Russia\u2019s top academic periodicals. \u201cKantovsky Sbornik\u201d is available online via IKBFU\u2019s publishing house (https:\/\/journals.kantiana.ru\/kant_collection\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n Research expertise of the Academy is being implemented in Masters Programs in Philosophy, conducted by IKBFU. There are new Masters and Doctoral Programs specifically dedicated to Kantian philosophy and its contemporary applications. The latter have been developed by the Academy to bring together prominent Kant scholars and an enthusiastic international student audience.<\/p>\n The Academy is making a strong effort to reach wider audiences, bringing discussions of philosophy to schools, libraries, art galleries and other cultural spaces.
