He studied philosophy and public law in Rostock, Jena and Bochum, and received his doctorate in Wuppertal, where he was a doctoral fellow.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Michael Lewin is the author of <i>Das System der Ideen. <\/i><i>Zur perspektivistisch-metaphilosophischen Begr\u00fcndung der Vernunft im Anschluss an Kant und Fichte<\/i>, Freiburg\/M\u00fcnchen: Alber 2021. In his work, he developed a systematic account of ideas of pure reason in Kant and their deduction in Fichte and applied an extended version of the Lakatosian methodology of research programs to philosophy.
