Before joining the University of Bristol in 2018 he held positions at Trinity College Dublin and the University of Goettingen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">His main areas of work are Kantian ethics, especially Kant\u2019s methodology of practical philosophy, his theory of practical rationality and of rationalizing\/self-deception, Kant\u2019s and Kantian takes on global poverty and global injustice, demandingness of morality as well as moral education.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, he works on Classical German Philosophy as well as normative Ethics and political philosophy (demandingness, global justice and global poverty, climate ethics, universal basic income).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Numerous articles in journals such as <i>Nous, European Journal of Philosophy, Kantian Review, Kant Studien, British Journal for the History of Philosophy, Hegel-Studien, Archiv fuer Geschichte der Philosophie<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>Research topic in the Kantian Rationality Lab: <\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kant\u2019s theory of practical rationality and of rationalizing\/self-deception.
